The first sign of gorillas can be seen with the teeth marks made from chewing the bark off of a young eucalyptus tree. This is one area of conflict between gorillas and farmers who are planting eucalyptus to be used primarily as a fuel wood. Gorillas apparently do not eat the farmed crops.
