The sun rises on an ancient Adensonia digitata (Baobab tree) in Tarangire National Park. These organisms are amongst the oldest living species on our planet, capable of growing for over 2000 years. In the dry season, elephants eat the bark of this woodless tree which occasionally causes them fall in huge masses known as 'ship wrecks'.
