A chain of volcanoes jets out of the heavily farmed tri-border region of Uganda, DRC and Rwanda. The forests on these slopes are the last remaining habitat for an estimated 780 mountain gorillas (WWF). Each county names their protected site slightly differently (Uganda - Mgahinga Gorilla NP, DRC - Virunga NP and Rwanda - Volcanos NP or 'PNV)' yet they provide the same essential habitat.
